2023

2022
We are proud to announce that we have shown the community of Arizona & South Carolina that we are the premier solar provider in the area. We are also proud to announce that we are ready to launch our expansion into the North Carolina and Georgia communities.
We are also pleased to have sent J. Rice to Haiti to provide his experience to a local non-profit by helping them put together 6 solar systems in remote areas of Haiti that help provide water & power to local residents who were greatly in need.
2021
At the mid of 2021, Veteran Solar strengthened its partnership with Sunny Energy by Co-Launching a new state to better serve home owners, They formed Sunny Energy of SC/ Veteran Solar SC. With the South Carolina office being headquartered in Greenville, SC. they chose that location due to its strategic location in the Tri-State area of SC, NC & GA.
Sunny Energy founders each have 12 years of PV solar experience and have installed thousands of solar electric systems helping owners take control of their personal energy. Sunny Energy is dedicated to helping homeowners save money on their electric bills. We believe in delivering superior performance by using the best design, installation, equipment, and financing options.
We brought on to the team Master Electrician J. Rice. Who is licensed in all 3 states and loves the area and shares the vision for growth & doing the right thing by the community. He is a father of 6 wonderful children.
2020
We continued our path of being the best and brought on T. Helm to become our Arizona Manager, he has a vivid vision for the future of solar and has continued to grow the Arizona Solar Community. He is also the founder of a Non-Profit “Transformation Treehouse” that Veteran Solar is proud to be a supporter of.
2019
In 2019 Veteran Solar saw the need that families were having, specifically disabled veteran families, utilities bills in Arizona Summers can approach upwards of $650 a month during the Summer months and some disabled veterans can not afford a solar system, thus the Veteran Solar Foundation was launched with the purpose of doing two things, if the veteran rent’s paying for the utility bill for the year & if they own the home by raising funds to donate a full solar system for their home. During the first year of the foundation 4 veterans had their utility bills paid for and for a total contribution of over $4700’s in the community.
2018
The need to continue the growth of working with the best landed the Veteran Solar AZ team at the doors of the best Solar Installation Company in Phoenix, AZ. Sunny Energy. Sunny Energy has won numerous awards, and shares in the vision of using the best equipment available and always doing the right thing.
This strategic partnership allowed for Veteran Solar AZ to better service its customers with an engineering and electrical crew that also shared in the vision of not being the biggest but the best in the industry.
2017
After a year of experience running a Solar energy they realized the need for not having the cheapest equipment available but the best, they strove to pivot the industry by providing the Top of the line Solar Panels, Inverters, Racking. But also having the best customer service in the industry. And while the systems are not they cheapest they are the best in the industry.
Because solar systems are a investment of a home owner in their energy independence and will last 25 years or more this is why they decided to make that pivot to the best of the best!
2016
Veteran Solar AZ, was launched in February of 2016 with the original name of Great Home Solar. After much pushing and prodding from mentors they changed the name to Veteran Solar.
VSAZ was started by two Air Force Veterans who desired to serve the community in another way, clean energy that saves home owners money. They had lived by the core values of the Air Force of Integrity First, Service before Self, and Excellence in all we do. And they saw a need in the Solar industry to inject those core values that they lived in there time of service.
During there time in the Air Force they where famous for their “Money Talk” & “Goal Getting Talk” which had helped many military members get our of Debt, Save Money & learn how to set and achieve goals.
They have brought that same passion and energy into the renewable energy field and are seeking to help people save money on their electric bill by investing in solar and gaining energy independence.
